Welcome to Joe’s Carpet Care. By scheduling or receiving services from Joe’s Carpet Care, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
Appointments and Scheduling
Appointments are scheduled based on availability. Arrival times are estimated and may vary due to traffic, weather, prior job conditions, or unforeseen circumstances.
Joe’s Carpet Care reserves the right to reschedule appointments when necessary due to equipment issues, illness, severe weather, unsafe working conditions, or other circumstances beyond our control.
Cancellations and Rescheduling
Customers must provide at least 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling.
Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to a cancellation fee of $50.
If our technician arrives and is unable to complete the scheduled service due to lack of access, no adult present, unsafe conditions, utilities not available, pets not secured, or the customer is not home, a no-show fee of $75 may apply.
Payment Terms
Payment is due immediately upon completion of service.
We accept the following forms of payment:
- Cash
- Check
- Credit cards
- Debit cards
- Cash App
- Zelle
- Venmo
Returned checks are subject to a $35 returned check fee.
Joe’s Carpet Care reserves the right to charge late fees, collection costs, court costs, and attorney fees for unpaid balances.
Furniture Moving Policy
Joe’s Carpet Care may move limited furniture when necessary and when safe to do so.
Furniture we may move includes:
- Couches
- Love seats
- Recliners
- Sectionals
- Coffee tables
- End tables
Furniture moving may involve an additional fee depending on the amount and type of furniture.
For safety and liability reasons, we do not move:
- Beds
- Dressers
- Nightstands
- China cabinets
- Entertainment centers
- Pianos
- Electronics
- Aquariums
- Appliances
- Fragile, antique, or oversized furniture
Customers are responsible for removing small items, breakables, electronics, lamps, plants, toys, and valuables from service areas before our arrival.
Access to Utilities
Customers must provide access to water and electricity at the service location.
If water or electricity is unavailable, Joe’s Carpet Care may be unable to complete the scheduled service and cancellation or no-show fees may apply.
Stain Removal and Results Disclaimer
Joe’s Carpet Care will make every reasonable effort to improve the appearance of carpets, upholstery, tile, and grout.
However, results may vary based on the age of the material, previous cleaning attempts, permanent staining, wear, discoloration, pet damage, odor contamination, or other pre-existing conditions.
We do not guarantee complete removal of all stains, odors, spots, discoloration, or damage.
Some stains, including but not limited to pet urine, bleach spots, dye stains, rust stains, paint, ink, and permanent discoloration, may not be removable.
Dry times vary based on humidity, airflow, temperature, carpet thickness, and other conditions.
Pet Odor and Urine Damage Disclaimer
Pet urine and odor issues may exist below the carpet surface and within the carpet pad or subfloor.
Topical cleaning alone may not fully remove severe pet odors or contamination.
Additional odor treatments, enzyme treatments, pad replacement, or subfloor treatment may be necessary.
Joe’s Carpet Care does not guarantee complete odor removal in severe pet contamination situations.
Safety and Occupancy Requirements
Customers are responsible for securing pets before and during service.
Children must be supervised and kept away from hoses, tools, cleaning equipment, and work areas.
Joe’s Carpet Care will not perform services if minors are present without a responsible adult on-site.
We reserve the right to stop or refuse service if conditions are unsafe.
Travel Fees and Service Area
Joe’s Carpet Care services most areas within our normal service region.
Appointments outside of our standard service area may be subject to a travel fee.
Typical travel fees may range from $25 to $75 depending on distance.
Customers will be notified of any travel fee before the appointment is confirmed.
Refund Policy
Due to the nature of cleaning services, refunds are not guaranteed once service has been completed.
If a customer is dissatisfied, they must notify Joe’s Carpet Care within 48 hours of service completion.
Joe’s Carpet Care may, at its discretion, return to address reasonable concerns before considering any partial refund.
Damage Claims
Customers must report any concerns or damage claims within 48 hours of service completion.
Joe’s Carpet Care is not responsible for pre-existing damage, loose seams, worn carpet, weakened fibers, damaged tile, loose grout, pet damage, fading, discoloration, or other pre-existing conditions.
